Senior Software Engineer at Yopeso
Starting at YOPESO 6 years ago, my journey began in Software Product Management. In this role, I orchestrated various web and mobile application projects, focusing on agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum. Even then, I frequently acted as a go-to person for frontend architecture and development, effectively bridging the gap between management and technical execution.
Two years ago, I transitioned into the role of a Senior Software Engineer, with a more firm emphasis on frontend development. In this capacity, I have contributed to a broad spectrum of projects, ranging from medium-sized applications to those with a substantial user base of up to 500,000 monthly active users. My role as a Senior Software Engineer has been multifaceted, focusing not just on technical proficiency, but also on fostering team collaboration and contributing to the growth of our projects.
Beyond the hours
Parallel to my professional path, I've embarked on a personal project close to my heart — Hyoogoo.com. A dedicated space for organizing and sharing your content, from projects to portfolios. One space, infinite possibilities. This venture isn't just a testament to my love for technology; it's a reflection of my dedication to pushing the boundaries of what I can create and achieve beyond the work environment.
Hyoogoo emerged from my fascination with the atomic design approach and my desire to delve deeper into full-stack development. Utilizing Next.js, I've focused on building an application that is not only robust and scalable but also fine-tuned for a seamless user experience. The modularity of atomic design has allowed me to craft a user interface that's both intuitive and adaptable.
The backend of Hyoogoo is powered by MongoDB, chosen for its flexibility and powerful data handling capabilities, essential for a dynamic and evolving project like this. In areas where performance is key, I've integrated Fastify within the Node.js environment, optimizing for speed and efficiency.
This after-hours journey with Hyoogoo has been as enriching as it has been challenging. It's a project that continuously hones my full-stack development skills, tests my problem-solving abilities, and deepens my understanding of what it takes to build an application from the ground up.
